This is a privately held company, not a government entity like they advertise and would like you to think. They buy bad debts, hence they are a collection firm, only specializing in specific cases. If you want to risk your debt being collected illegally and face legal reprocussions, then choose them!They are known to contact individuals fishing for information, and will outright refuse to tell a person why theyre being persued legally. They will illegally pull hard credit on individuals who they have no business relation with (Bell Canada was sued for the same thing!), but in addition they will harass an individuals work by phone and email without ever informing the individual of their debt, all while denying their actions which are easily traced. All of these actions are a clear violation of consumer protection laws. If you want to collect your debts, I would encourage you to look elsewhere to have them legally collected. At least that way youd have a chance of collecting some funds, instead of risking them lost to a dishonest organization.
