Because they allow smoking, the hallways reeked of smoke. However, my room smelled clean and smokeless. (But after 3 nights there, I realized all my clothes smelled like smoke). Beds were comfy, fridge stayed very cold, and bathroom was clean. I liked the shower but didn't like how the curtain stank of mildew for a day. But, thankfully, I think the maids changed it the next day because it didn't smell anymore. Nice service - brought extra towels up quickly when asked. Thin walls as you can hear people in the hallways. And fyi there was no elevator (that we could find) which was a slight inconvenience. Overall, good hotel of you can tolerate the smell of smoke.
Room was great, staff was very friendly, and location is great. If you're coming out of town, you can park your car at the hotel and leave it drive. It is right next to a bus stop that takes you to a subway station which takes you anywhere in Montreal.
Full of bad smoking smell when we open the door. The smoke smell is all over bed sheet, comforter, curtain, Though the whole building is nonsmoking and a non-smoking sign on door. The receptionist said no more room available and she does no know the room has smoke smell. The maid obviously did not even report, nor try to remove the smoke smell. After my complaint, a worker then came to spray air refresher. But the window wont open at all, the air refresher doea not remove the order at all. We feel throat hurt in the morning and rush out of the room in the morning.I would not recommend stay in the hotel ever.
It's a descent hotel. A bit far from downtown but there's a bus stop just at the corner; less than 20 foot steps from the hotel. The only thing was that there was a plumbing issue. Every time we flushed the toilet there would be water leak. We addressed the issue at the reception, they said they will send someone but no one came. We stayed there for 2 days. The reception is separated from the hotel. I thought it was a little bit expensive.
Cheap hotel for a cheap price. Our room had a humidity smell worst than most rooms in Cuba. It was at a point where I rushed out of there in the morning! Was decent clean, bed was halfway decent and it wasn't too noisy. I liked the location also. Would I stay there again? Probably not...
